Each gîte has a fully equipped kitchen
and well furnished rooms, these are described in more detail on the specific page for each gîte.
Also included in the standard price for each gîte are the:
Gite heating
During the Winter season the price for Bordeaux includes the cost of central heating.
This heating is sometimes needed during mronings and evenings in the low season
and is optionally available at an additional charge of £5 per day.
All the other gites are heated using electric heaters,
and the additional charge is calculated simply from the number of
units of electricity used, multiplied the cost charged by the French electricity board
(EDF).
In addition (or as an alternative) Bordeaux and Burgundy both have large fireplaces, and we can provide firewood
at a cost of 5 Euros per 'load', where a load is a 'level' wheelbarrow of 8-10 logs.
Optional Extras
We do make a separate charge for optional extras such as:
- Linen packs - which contain bedlinen, towels etc.
- Pets - Welcome if you let us know in advance -
we have two very friendly dogs on site, normally found in our private garden!
- Our wine supply service
